TM E-Bill Registration

Starting from 1 January 2016, there is a RM 2 charge for TM's printed bills. This charge is applicable to Broadband residential and SME customers of:

  1. Streamyx
  2. UniFi
[Tip 1] Although there is a RM2 charge, customers subscribing to only TM telephone service continue to have the printed bills for free.

In view of the charges applied on the printed bills, consumers are encouraged to register for E-Bills instead, which will be an electronic version of your monthly bill. E-Bill is free of charge as compared to printed bills.Upon registration, you will be receiving E-Bill via your email starting from your next billing cycle. You can register using a few methods:
  1. Sending an email to help@tm.com.my
This is considered an effective method as TM staff tends to respond your email within 24 hours. To even shorten the processing time, you are encouraged to include the following details in your first email sending to TM:
    • Contact person (It can be someone other than the account holder)
    • Contact number
    • TM telephone number
    • Account Number
    • Full name of account holder
    • IC/Passport/BR number of account holder
    • Full billing address
    • Preferred e-mail address (This is important as the E-Bill will be sent to this email address upon success)

  2. Walk in to TM point outlets
There are quite a few TMpoint outlets that allow you to do your E-Bill registration. One of the most popular and flexible outlets would be the UTC KL at Pudu Sentral in which it opens from 8.30 am till 10 pm daily except for public holidays.

[Tip 2] To view the full list of TMpoint outlets, kindly visit here

  3. Call 100
If you want to avoid the hassle and long queue, you might consider calling TM at 100.The good thing is calling 100 using your home telephone is free of charge. However, as TM consistently receive a high volume of customer calls, you might have to be patient while waiting for the TM staff picks up your phone. The waiting time could be up to 30 minutes. Anyway, please get ready with the information as stated in Method 1 to make the process quicker once the call has been picked up.
Once completed, note that you will only start receiving the E-Bill the following month after your registration. However, for those new customers (i.e. those who are not TM customers prior to 1 June 2015) will automatically receive their first bill via email.

In order to view your historical bills online, you are also encouraged to register under TM online. Click here for the registration. Upon registration, you are able to manage your TM services, view and download your bills at anytime, pay your bills and upgrade your package etc.

[Tip 3] Register under TM online does not mean you are entitled to having E-Bill sent to your email. You would still need to request for E-Bill registrations via the methods aforementioned to avoid the RM2 charges for printed bills.

Let's begin a new year avoiding unnecessary expenditure. Again, we wish you a happy new year!
